The Laboratory of Translation and Natural Language Processing of the School of French at AUTh announces the launch of a new online seminar series open to those interested in enriching their skills and competences in new emerging scientific fields of the discipline of Translation. The seminars are addressed to researchers, post-graduate students, and graduates of Schools of Foreign Languages, Schools of Translation and Interpreting as well as to professional translators.
The seminars aim to chart the multidimensionality of translation practice, the new interlingual needs and the challenges posed by technological advancements in the language professions.
For this reason, the seminars present a different topic at every meeting. Each seminar will include a lecture and time allocated for discussion. The invited speakers are prominent academics working in Greece or in Europe and are recognised for their contribution to the relevant academic field.
