The Laboratory of Translation and Natural Language Processing, School of French Language and Literature, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki offers a series of online seminars once more to all those who are interested in gaining new knowledge on the science of Translation and its new subdisciplines. The seminars are addressed to researchers, postgraduate students, graduates of foreign language, Greek language and translation and interpreting departments, as well as to professional translators.
They aim to highlight the interdisciplinarity of translation in general and to present the multidisciplinary characteristics of translation practice, the new interlingual everyday needs as well as the challenges posed in language professions due to technological evolution in recent years.
The seminars are categorised according to different thematic axes which are covered in the five scheduled meetings. More specifically, each meeting includes a main talk followed by some time allocated to questions and discussion. The speakers are academics both from Greece and abroad, renowned for their contribution in each field.

The seminars are free, but registration is required.
