Dionysis Kapsaskis is Senior Lecturer at the University of Roehampton, London, where he teaches practical and theoretical aspects of translation, transcreation, and storytelling. His research has been published in Translation Studies, Quarterly Review of Film and Video, and Dalhousie French Studies among other journals. He has edited volumes on “Translation and authenticity” (Synthesis 2012), and “Translation in the creative industries” (The Journal of Specialised Translation, 2018), and co-edited The Routledge Handbook of Translation and Globalization (2021). Currently, Dionysis is writing a monograph entitled Translation and Film: Transforming Cinematic Cultures and Texts (Routledge, forthcoming).
