Heidi Verplaetse is an associate professor of linguistics and translation studies at KU Leuven, Campus Antwerp. She currently teaches courses on English linguistics, translation and writing of journalistic, business and medical / scientific texts, as well as digital text design and health communication in respectively the Bachelor Applied Linguistics, Master in Translation and Master Multilingual Communication.
